Excellent Performer
1 of 1 found this helpful After 30 minutes studying the users manual you will find, just as I did, the operation of this oscilloscope becomes intuitive.
The many built-in features, as well as the 6000 count DMV, provides a very powerful diagnostic tool for any technician, service provider or bench repair person.
Everything you will need to use this instrument to its fullest capability are included. Carrying bag, wall power supply to charge the battery and/or operate the scope, too. A pair of ten-to-one attenuate probes rated over 200 MHz, DMV probes, SUB interface for PC image downloads and very readable imaging.
I use mine in the field routinely and it's performed without a flaw.

It's only a battery.
It's everything needed: small, holds an electrical charge, willingly takes a recharge and, thankfully, all without oozing anything. Must be a Republican.

In my opinion, the quality of the device is directly related to the quality of the operating manual supplied.
I invested an hour to study the documentation which is well organized, easy to understand and presents the device from its most basic functions to more complicated operations in a step-by-step process.
The Hantek DSO-1200 satisfies every one of my professional needs, as well as providing powerful diagnostic signal processing functions. Until I discovered the Hantek through the eBay market place, this level and quality of diagnostic flexibility was normally found on equivalent devices priced more than 500% of the investment for the Hantek DSO-1200.
