Worked perfectly
1 of 1 found this helpful Did just what I wanted it to: turned a SSD taken from a broken MacBook Air into a functioning SSD with a standard SATA connector. One disappointing thing: it's too long to fit in a 2.5" drive slot, but this is not the fault of the manufacturer: the module itself is essentially too long for this to be possible.

Neat little toy
I bought this actually to try some different firmware. The stock firmware, while serviceable, is Windows-centric and a little clunky. There's the commercial HxC firmware, Cortex, and open-source FlashFloppy firmware with a growing community and responsive developer.

Good enough
This actually didn't perfectly fit my 12" X60S (there's a 1 cm space between the side of the battery and the battery compartment), but it does work. I probably didn't do enough research to understand the differences between the models. In any case, my little ThinkPad is happily powered.
