Replaces the R260 nicely, with same ink
A lot of people are trying to obtain the R260, but this is the newer model and the dvd printing doesn't need to be adjusted with cross hairs, like you must with the R260. After 3 R260's, I'm happy with this. It cost a LOT less than R260's are going for, probably because the R260 is an older model and therefore, harder to find.

The flagship portable DVD player from the inventor of DVD. All others pale.
The first, and best portable DVD player ever made. By the inventors of the DVD. I was a Toshiba dealer for 18 years, and I paid $515 for one wholesale in 2003. It is still working, though the batteries are long dead. I even bought 3 more for my editing needs. And they all work perfect to this day. It has 600 lines of resolution, which on a 9 inch screen is incredibly detailed. The 480i that dvd was, was meant for a 32" tv. So compressing that into 9 inches and you have an awesome picture. These Toshiba players also boasted 540p instead of 480, giving you a 12 1/2% clearer picture than other players. And the sound reaches 88,000 hz, TWICE what the Sony players have (44,000 hz). I use these because I digitize 8mm film and video, Hi-8, Digital 8 and mini DV, which was originally standard definition, and the Toshiba DVD recorders with Hard Drives with these players make a perfect editing combo.

A MUST if you seek the TRUTH!
Considered to be one of the five best books EVER published. There is more Truth in it than the Bible. And that is no joke.
