Don't leave in over night
Bait it, and lower into tank.
For a hour or so, then the lights go off.
Then remove, if you leave in it over night.
The snails will have wandered off, as it doesn't trap them.
The bait just attracts them onto the tray.
I catch 20 to 30 snails a time, doing it this way.

Dry windscreen
No more, soaking wet windscreen in the mornings.
I have 2 of these sat on the dash, and they work great.
Sit them on top of the radiator over the weekend to dry them out
Put them back in the car Sunday evening, for the week. Simple.

Works Great. Easy to use

Bait it. Drop it in tank overnight.
Full of snails in the morning. Take it out.
Tip it upside down, and shake them out.
No need to take apart.
I tied a piece of string to each end.
To make it easy to lower into tank, and take out.
Some reviews say it doesn't work.
I can only assume they didn't, put bait in. Alge tabs work well.
