Great guide, thick, choc full of info and beautiful visuals.
To understand and get the full effect you definitely need to read in Japanese, tho the picture and frame data is complete for each character and many situations in game. The design is dynamic, and there’s strat pages for things you probably wouldn’t even think to dedicate to, casual or intermediate CvS2 player. Every character is displayed with their move set and color options based on each button press. There are sections dedicated to groove system explanations and the layout of each groove and its options. Even boss characters you have to unlock or that may be console only are present and accounted for in detail.
Y can clearly see this is from a gaming capital in itself, both in production, documentation, and competitive enjoyment of them to what seems to be often their highest possible potency. For this to be available at all is actually awesome, and everyone needs to know this. It’s subjective but you still need to know it, and it’ll keep on giving with knowledge and variation of colors and visuals alike. To treat playing a game like a learning and teaching experience is something that will open the minds and hearts of tons, and this guide is a sterling example of that, and I think a reason CvS2 will survive and live in infamy well beyond it’s based era of 2001. Variety is the spice of life, and this guide and game have that aplenty. The original title, Millionaire Fighting is the best too!
