Cute Classic!!
1 of 2 found this helpful I enjoy this movie for many reasons. Amanda Peterson plays a beautiful popular girl and Patrick Dempsey plays the cute goofy guy next door who pays her to date him. It's an innocent movie everyone can enjoy. Costumes and hair styles took me back to the 1980s. Anyone who went to high school can relate to the humor in this. Amanda Peterson tragically overdosed in July 2015, because during the time she was filming this movie, she was raped by a much older man and it haunted her the rest of her life...she coped with drugs. Knowing this and seeing her act well in the movie and staying strong is truly an inspiration. My prayers go out to her and her family. This is an excellent movie!!!
