PIXNOR Sewing Machine 20-LEDs 220V Magnetic Mounting Light Lamp Portable NEW
    Jul 13, 2017
    Decent little lamp
This is a useful little lamp. I used mine on my lathe, as opposed to a sewing machine, where it lit up the tool/work interface perfectly. The magnet is easily strong enough to hold it in place, as long as you have a surface that the magnet can attract to, so it won't work with plastics or alloys, but is great on cast Iron or Steel. You do have to wire it up yourself, and I fitted a mains plug to mine. And here is where my main worry comes in, it comes straight from China, and has no 'CE' mark. The magnetic base and the flexible stem are metal, yet there is no earth wire or means to connect an earth to, hence I'm not 100% sure about it's safety. If you can stomach that, it's a good work lamp and very cheap indeed.
RDG TOOLS IMPERIAL 3/32" - 1/2" TRANSFER PUNCHES SET METALWORK ENGINEERING TOOLS

    Essential workshop kit!
These are so useful! I use them all the time in my workshop, and wonder how I coped without them now. A Metric set, and a Number/Letter drill size set are worth tracking down too, along with the Imperial set, so you can then usually find one to fit the hole size you're working on. I came across them by accident, and am wondering why my model engineering friends didn't tell me about them, they are just so handy! The only downside is that they aren't that well hardened, so if you use one particular punch size a lot, it does get blunt, and due to the recessed point design, I find them impossible to resharpen. It would be great if you could get individual replacement punches, rather than them being just sold as a set. Still, I recommend them!

    Good quality
Works perfectly for what I wanted, to store mechanics picks.
