The real innovation of Surefire

This is what really makes Surefire and puts them above the competition. This equipment is made for police and military. A stainless tension spring holds the flashlight right side up or upside down. It is like having a quick draw light saber at your side. Much better than having a little canvas and velcro flashlight holder. I am a diesel fleet mechanic and I needed a good flashlight with holder to have on my belt at my side, next to my Gerber multi tool, which also has quick draw action. I have been using this for a few days and absolutely love it! No more carrying a bulky item in my pocket, or going back to my toolbox for a light when I need to inspect something. This has a lifetime warranty and is patented, and is worth every penny.
