Inexpensive
The price was right. I can keep a supply on hand so I don't have to go to the store when the old batteries expire.

Required Toilet Modification
Prior to installing the unit my toilet worked acceptably. After installing the unit, water did no flow through the unit into the bowl. I had to modify my toilet by restricting the flow of the water to the tank so water would flow through the unit into the bowl during a flush. The bleach cleaned the stains from the sides of the bowl as claimed. The only thing I find objectionable is the hint of bleach I smell throughout the house.

Inexpensive, reliable timer
It is a good choice for someone needing to take medication at equal intervals during a 24 hour period (24, 12, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, or 1 hour increments because it only takes a push of one button to restart the timing cycle. At other timing intervals it takes some effort to reprogram the timer. This can be complicated for individuals with diminished abilities.
