Handy for storing electronics components and tools also
For long time I was struggling at work with managing all my electronics components and related tools. Not anymore! With this product and its sister models, I am finally able to turn chaos into order. 4 handy compartments let me decide a theme for every layer, one can be for example regular components, second for cable making stuff and third one for programmers and debuggers. The bulk storage on top is also a very welcome addition. Compartments are Plano 3650 compartments, but the slots seem to fit also other Plano 36xx-series boxes. Neat. Simply 5/5 product!

A small form factor ultraportable with decent 3D performance
I have always been a huge fun of Lenovo Thinkpad series. Nowadays I prefer ultra-small form factor, so X120e is the choice for me.
Unfortunately these babies are not sold here in Europe, so I have to use eBay to acquire them. I usually replace the keyboard with a Finnish layout and add more RAM and a bigger disk. This turns X120e into a trustworthy travel companion.
The machine lacks a bit of punch compared to the Intel Core i7 designs when raw CPU power is measured. But this baby has an actual AMD RadeonHD graphics chip. It makes up quite a bit; a lot of older 3D games run extremely well on this machine. The keyboard is also excellent, as is the screen resolution. It also has support for AMD virtualization technologies.
I really could not survive without this laptop on my business trips. I hope Lenovo continues to produce models with this form factor in the future also.
