Good replacement part
The fit and feel of this lift cylinder is great and it saved me from tossing and otherwise good chair.

Mine needed modification
I had to pull the handle to the limit to open the door. Eventually after a little wear it would not open at all. I removed it and added about 1/16 material to the end of the pusher plate to make it move the latch sooner in the pull. Then it worked like the old one. My opinion is the manufacturing tolerances are not up to par.

Good value
My only complaint is that the needle hole is about 0.035 inches. If using this for surface mount work, one has to squeeze very gently to get not more than is needed.
