  Rod is brand new as noted in listing. Seller accepted my counter offer. A little research turned up TRL rods were made by a small fishing tackle company that made "world class fishing tackle at prices that people can afford toprovide cutting edge products made using the best materials and we sell them to you at a small mark-up." Shipping was fast. Item was packaged well One minor thing, case zipper pull tab had pulled off zipper and was tied on with light string. Zipper still worked perfectly.

  Thank you for the extra info on rod - it was a tough one to explain and I tried to research as much as possible - my husband passed away last December so I am trying my best to sell his rods at reasonable prices - kudos on your input - sorry about the zipper pull - but knew it would work with my adaptation.
