Excellent condition, like new
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this used, to have as a spare and for my granddkids to use with games and it's like new condition and so far works well. In the rating questions it says "Does this have a small form factor?" and I don't know what that means.. even after I googled i it. It is a small phone, but has a large screen, for it's size. I don't know if this review is for the S4 overall, or the specific one I bought, used on ebay. But, I have had several of them (ended up giving them to someone who needed a phone) and like them, and because they are getting older the price, used, is fairly affordable.

Really great phone, has a lot and works good.
When my answering machine/cordless phone stopped working, I looked on ebay (of course) and finally decided on this one. I don't have much money to spend and this seemed to have everything I want with what I could spend.Reburbished but like new. Took me a little while to figure it out (different than my previous brand) but now I have, it works great and is very easy to use. There are options on it I don't use, but are there if I wanted. I have other Uniden products (another cordless phone, with extension phone, that I've had for maybe 10 years and still works) and a police scanner I've had for many years. The brand seems to work good and lasts and isn't as expensive as some. Also, when looking at the reviews I read someone had a problem with their cordless phone not working good because of an internet router which was the same freqency (3.-something) I had noticed this with my old cordless phone it would tick lightly. The new Uniden one I got is 5.8 GHz which is different than the router and isn't effected by it. Just putting this in because I hadn't realized this and maybe others don't, either.
I also love the colors of the phone (and cordless) the black and silver. I was paying $7 a month for VM from the phone co and got a phone with answering machine and no longer had to. This on also works as a pager, if someone had the cordless one outside (for example) they could be contacted from the base. I don't have much use for the extras, but as I said, they are there. I don't know what it costs new, but buying it on ebay (refurbished and like new) was a good deal.

Love this phone
I was continually bothered by "unknown caller" type calls all the time, even though I'm on the Do Not Call Reg, the spam and scam and who-knows-what, ones (and surveys, and charities, etc are exempt from that) would still call. If they aren't using a legit number, reporting them doesn't do any good. I didn't want to change my phone number, I'd had for 20 years, and a lot is probably auto dialing and would start again. I finally gave up and bought a phone with call block, and I love it. I wish I had done it long ago. It doesn't stop all unwanted calls, because they change numbers and spoof numbers, but I hit the BLOCK CALL button. There's an option to not ring (for blocked calls) or ring once. I have it on not ring but since I also have another phone without call block, I hear that one ring but only once. When it blocks it shows this on the screen. It also will say (auto voice) who is calling (this can be turned off) and if you have people set up in the contacts, it will say their name, too. Like 'Call from (name) " several times. This is good if I'm in another room and the phone rings (more than once, so I know it's not blocked number) It was very easy to set up and use, which I wanted. it has a big screen that shows things, you are doing. it has called ID button to see who called and the number can be blocked after the call was received. I haven't unblocked any number yet, but if I want to know how to do something I google it. I just wish it had more than 250 number call block but seems like I've had it around a year and I haven't filled it up yet. When it's full, I can clear it all and start over, but Im considering buying another phone to go with it. I'd like to get more handsets, at some point, they can be added on. I don't think this is a new model, I bought it "reconditioned" (used) for $44 ... maybe there are newer and more fancy (and some phones have 1000 number call block) but it works great and I don't have a lot of money to spend on phones. The sound is great on it, and even the cordless phone that comes with it has all the features like call block and saying the caller name out loud.
