Adapter vs New Speakers
This adapter arrived on a timely basis and works well. Buying it saved me the trouble of rewiring a new PC Speaker System. It was nice to find a replacement part for 15 year old Speakers on eBay.

Use New Batteries!
I purchased these units and transferred the batteries from my still working old phones. I got these errors: "Insert Battery", "Use Rechargeable Batteries", and Charge for 7H" I learned (the hard way) that rechargeable batteries only last 2 years and must be replaced. Also, the “Charge for 7H” message is normal when the phone detects different batteries and means that the phone has initiated the new battery routine.
