2003 VW
In California having problems passing smog every year. Had to clean contacts on the harness, reset the codes so the check engine light would go out. Then drive it around for fifty miles so the computer could cycle and pass smog. This last time the old harness gave up the ghost and came apart in my hand. New one solved all the problems and check engine light has not come back on. Victory after staring at the check engine light for six years!

My experience
Good directions, easy project.
Make sure the ring part of the buckle is up and clear in the right position when you install or you will be doing it twice. There is four of them. When marking to drill holes, do it with the lid on. The lip on the lid must clear the rack frame.

The finish is rough cast so there will be no polishing of this aluminum rim.
