Carousels for Kodak projector
1 of 1 found this helpful This is valuable only to someone who still has 35 mm slides that they treasure and want to periodically look at and haven't gotten around to digitizing. The Kodak Carousel projector is still the standard slide projector (See the Mad Men episode) and fortunately, these slide carousels are still available for it.
The only down side is that these carousels take up a lot of room for the amount of slides they hold. My old projector that died was a Bell and Howell slide cube projector and it held 40 slides in a cube that measured 2x2x2 inches. One box holds 16 cubes, or a total of 640 slides in the same volume as one carousel that holds 140 slides.
On the other hand, that doesn't do much good is you can't project the slide cubes.
