KEF IQ6c CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER

it was probably worth it

so what I did is I replaced a satellite speaker KEF 1001.2 with center speaker. The primary reason behind that was my little kids who have knocked down the speaker a couple of times already. My other satellite speakers are mounted high on the walls, this one was simply standing on the sub. This speaker has connectors for 4 wires, I only have two, and that`s ok. This speaker is big and sturdy, I do not have to worry about it being knocked down any longer. I did not generally notice stark contrast in performance between satellite speaker and this, but in one movie there was a lightning strike. It sounded GREAT! Loved it. I think it makes nice addition to a sub and it's not too expensive, so great purchase overall; but there's honestly not a big difference in quality of sound between the satellite KEF and this one. At least not in my setup.

had to cut it to insert into wallet of the same brand

I expected that it would fit wallet of the same brand right out of hand, but that was not the case. I had to use the scissors to cut it a little bit so it would fit into wallet's pocket. Other than that, it looks and works great. Purchased two, my wife uses it in her wallet (not alpine swiss), which also required a bit of scissor work. which is not a problem since it's different brand. It's only been a month but the plastic hasn't been torn anywhere, so it looks good.
