Worth the $
Product as described. No reason to use so don't know how affective. But, in these times, it is probably good to have some protection.

Veronica Guerin-The Life And Death Of A Crime Reporter
Veronica Guerin - The Life And Death Of A Crime Reporter by Emily O'Reilly is
a book which at best describes the author's own pathetic views of investigative journalism by attacking the credibility and integrity of a dead journalist...
Veronica Guerin.
The Irish-journalist and author O'Reilly admits in her book that she was only a peripheral acquaintance of Guerin. Yet, O'Reilly feels she has the insight and right to actually take a dead investigative journalist's life apart to insinuate that Guerin was less of an investigative journalist because of how she developed into a journalist.
O'Reilly overlooks the glaring facts of Guerin's far-reaching investigative story. The impact of the stories she wrote regarding the drug trade and its activities helped to create an intolerable venue for drug barons to operate on the open-streets of Dublin's poorest areas.
If Guerin's journalistic attitude and integrity offends O'Reilly, then O'Reilly truly has no conception of what transforms any individual into an investigative journalist. Guerin did her job ... well. Guerin, as an investigative journalist, risked her own life by following her heart and that is what truly sets apart an investigative journalist from a business journalist, a fluff-piece journalist or a paid public relations whoring journalist.
Did the impact of what Guerin wrote make an impact upon Ireland's drug trade and relevant criminal activity? Did Guerin's reportage allow the pleas from families infected by the drug trade to become front page news? Did Guerin's investigation and reportage save even one child from injecting a heroin needle into their arm or foot? Were families able to get more help from police and the government to help clean up the infestation of drugs on the street because Guerin did her job? If Guerin's reportage helped to alleviate one family's grief by creating a climate for change in Dublin, then Guerin did her job.
An investigative journalist is oftentimes a loner. An investigative journalist
often engages criminals in their seedy home territories in trying to establish a relationship and get relevant information.
Guerin's life as an intuitive and committed investigative journalist is not what is portrayed in O'Reilly's book. O'Reilly "outs" Guerin as less than what makes a humanistic and caring investigative journalist.
Guerin tried to protect others at grave risk to herself not for Irish folklore, public glory and accolades. Guerin, as most investigative journalists, cared
about protecting people, the truth and justice.
O'Reilly only impunes her own journalism skills by attacking a real journalist who was killed for a noble cause. O'Reilly also attempts to blame Guerin's murder upon the Sunday Independent for whom Guerin worked. The Sunday Independent is not at fault for allowing a journalist to delve into a story
with few restrictions. Investigative reportage is not by its own circumstance ordinary or simplistic.
Investigative journalists risk everything including their lives to protect
humanity and freedom.
O'Reilly should never be entrusted to actually investigate and report upon a real news story where her life as a journalist might be placed in the line of fire to uncover and report upon anything that might save a life or save a democracy.
Veronica Guerin - The Life And Death Of A Crime Reporter by Emily O'Reilly is a book that denigrates the very essence of Guerin and every IR.

Home Office HP Printer Kudo
The HP Office Jet 3830 is exactly what I needed for my home office. It was easy to set up and the wireless ability to print only enhances it. I would recommend this wireless printer for a home office.
