Inspiring, True Story and a Stand-out Role for Lacey Chabert!
Absolutely loved this movie the first time I saw it and have been searching for the DVD ever since. For a long time the only copies I could find were $50+, so this was a fortunate find! This movie has everything going for it - inspiring true story, great script that tackles an emotional story in a very natural way, and wonderful chemistry between the leads. This is a stand-out role for Lacey Chabert. I've watched a half dozen times, at least. (The kids are a real bonus, too - they sound and act like actual kids, not like actors delivering dialogue.) Appropriate for all ages, provided that parents have already discussed the concept of death with any children. The story deals with the evolution of a relationship between a widow and widower and the blending of their families.. Highly recommend!
