Final Q.C. could be better
It arrived covered in what looked like plastic machining dust, bits of yellow and white plastic. Its main use is for watches and that requires NO DIRT. I had to spend about 10 minutes to take it apart, wash, dry, and reassemble. It and the packaging look to be very static producing so the dust wants to grab on to it. A little anti-static ionization and or spray somewhere near final packaging would save the customer some time and frustration. Other than that, it works well. And for the price... what the heck... buy it.

About $20, right, how is that possible? Low quality and lower quality assurance! But for near junk guns or experimentation how can you beat it? It looks great and the tube and case parts are well made. Optics: A decent amount of color separation especially the further you look off center, clear other wise (OK that's tuff to totally cure but I've seen much better). The center of view changes a good amount across full zoom limits. (OK this too is common in less expensive zoom optics, but quality is the known cure. and for an aide to aiming a gun it is not good. So just zero at mid point and write note to self to mentally correct in the right amount and in the right direction while shooting with other zoom settings, maybe....). , Dust end caps tempt you to think you should be able to see through them. Forget it. They are so wavy and milky it's stupid, better lens dust caps should be so easy. Quality control: The illumination for the cross hair did not work. Inner electrical parts were inadvertently totally covered in clear coat that prevented electrical contact. So no way it worked at factory. So no way anybody checked. I had to totally disassemble and carefully chemically remove the coating from critical electrical contact points (I'm an Electrical Engineer soooo) But for the $ I think it will do the job I intended.
