I was an idiot, and never bought them when they were coming out, partially because Funimation had been releasing so much Dragon Ball (The Orange Brick DVDs, DBZ Kai, The DBZ Movies, etc) all within 2-3 years, so buying this on top of all of that seemed like overkill.
I was wrong. The quality of these sets is unmatched, this is the series THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN. The Dragon Boxes are restored the proper way, with no aspect ratio distortion and the original Japanese audio. A true, to-the-bone fan of Dragon Ball Z (the Dragon Ball franchise in general) should make it a point to own these sets, alongside Dragon Ball/Z Kai, they are the definitive collections of the series.
