OEM part at discount price
Having been burned by using non OEM in critical part applications, I have learned that some things are worth just biting the bullet and paying for OEM. In this case, I got the part quickly and at a discounted price. It would have been $225 for the part alone had I taken it to a shop. 2hrs of busted knuckles was worth the $250 savings

Worth the extra money
I bought a Chinese compressor and put a new condenser and accumulator in at the same time since the original unit came apart. The Chinese compressor only lasted 2 years. It is worth the extra money not to have to do the job a 3rd time. OEM compressor cools the truck down like a refrigerator. The original one lasted 150K. If I get the sam life out of the OEM replacement, I will be happy
