Great Wire for Animation!
1 of 1 found this helpful This wire is excellent for stop-motion puppet fabrication. It's a very fine gauge, annealed aluminum, perfect for small parts like fingers and hands. I've always had a tough time finding this gauge in the states -- everywhere I've looked previously came from the UK and the shipping was a killer! -- But this is the best stuff I've found yet.

Descent Tripod for Novice
1 of 2 found this helpful Pros: Compact, light weight, good leg locks, extends to full 60 inches.
Cons: Very small almost toy-like QR plate, center column has slight tendency to wobble during raising/lowering of head, some plastic pieces that seem rather cheap.
Overall, for $17.95, this would be a good tripod for beginning shooters with small cameras and quick set-ups.
DSLRs or heavier video cameras, it would seem, are much to cumbersome for something this light weight.
