Cartoon!
This is the worst audiobook I have ever tried to listen to. To begin with, the voices were gratingly cliche. As I struggled onward listening to the story, hoping the obvious plot would improve, I finally had to just turn it off. I t was like listening to a comic book, a Saturday morning cartoon, or a bad amateur theater performance. The only person I could give this audiobook to would be a young teenage boy, and then only if he had never heard a detective story. I would possibly apologize as I gave it to him. If I could give this zero stars, I would.

Great CD by an author I will continue to read and recommend.
I love Bill Bryson, and as expected I loved this book also. I read his other books, but I listened to this one in my car on the CD player. It was interesting to actually be read to by the author and hear his inflection.

Escape to fun reading!
Fun summer read. Kinsey Milhone is one cool character. I am reading or rereading all of this Sue Grafton series.
