Lionel Plastic Kit
For those who enjoy building plastic kits, this Lionel Coaling Tower kit is one several plastic kits that Lionel has offered in the past years for O gauge model railroaders. The are easy to assemble with good detail and they can be super detailed if the modeler so desires. This modeling kit contains the Coaling Tower, the Hopper Car Shed, and the Office building, which makes it a complete representation of a Coaling Station on the railroads during the steam era.

A nice model of a prototype railroad electrical shed.
It is a nice model of a railroad electrical controller shed which can be seen along all class 1 railroads. It is designed to hide the electrical connection to the Lionel train tracks.

Plastic assembly Kit
This is one of Atlas' fine O scale plastic kits. It represents a model of structure that you would see for icing refrigerator freight cars prior to the mechanical refrigeration units installed in the cars. These were located along all railroads which hauled perishable goods. I rated it as not durable or entertaining as it is a stationary display model to enhance a model railroad. Being a plastic kit it has no play value. I would recommend this and all Atlas kits to model builders who like assemble kits. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow.
