Great after firmware update
1 of 1 found this helpful So, it arrived needing a firmware update. Before the update it wasn't picking up the timezone and had the wrong time. Google home did suggest an update, and I updated it. Update didn't exactly go smoothly - it got stuck reading "load" and was mostly unresponsive. But I did a factory reset, figuring I'd need to start over. Fortunately the firmware update had stuck, although I did have to go through the whole setup routine again. But the second setup went great and we really like it. Love that you can turn off the alarm by just whapping at the top. You can also turn it off by voice, of course, but I tend to be a bit gravelly when I first get up, and my echo dot didn't always understand me, so I like turning it off manually. Also like that display has different dimming levels. Overall very pleased.
