WG512 Worx TriVAC 12 Amp Electric 3-in-1 Leaf Blower/Mulcher/Yard Vacuum
Oct 02, 2023
A better alternative to bagging up leaves. Make your own leaf mold with this.
This is the second leaf vacuum that I've owned. It is superior to my first one because switching between blower and vacuum is much easier. You don't have to switch several pieces to go from blower to vacuum, just turn the dial. Turning the dial is pretty easy too. The bags seem to be made of better material than my other one I used to use as well. Yes, things can get dusty when you are vacuuming if the area where you are doing that is dusty. The bags are designed to capture the leaf fragments, not dust. Wear a face mask and goggles if dust bothers you. This is normal for leaf vacuums. The unit is a bit heavy, but it is also powerful, so it makes sense. Powerful motors and grinders with metal teeth tend to be heavy.
Calvin And Hobbes Volume 1 The Calvin & Hobbes Series... by Watterson, Bill
Oct 25, 2021
This is the origin of Calvin and Hobbes
If you like Calvin and Hobbes, and want to read the comics in books, this is the grail right here. Its the first published anthology of Watterson's comics. You get to see what the strip was like when it first began showing up in newspapers. It also has an introduction by Dunesbury comic strip artist Gary Trudeau.
Clue - Dungeons & Dragons 2013 Edition
Aug 30, 2021
The classic game of whodunnit for RPG players!
If you like the classic board game Clue, or you like RPGs like D&D, or both, then you ought to try this game! It's the classic 'whodunnit' game in which you and the other players are characters who are trapped in the mansion of your deceased host until the one who killed him is found. In this case, since it is Dungeons and Dragons, the mansion is a castle and the host is an archmage who has been killed by a doppleganger who looks just like one of you. Where did your suspected doppleganger kill the archmage, with which weapon/magic item and who did the doppleganger look like? You have to figure it out if you're to ever leave the castle. Not only that, but you also have the option of making the game even more like D&D by adding wandering monsters like beholders, mindflayers and gelatinous cubes for you to slay as you search the halls. If you fail to slay the monster, it drags you off to the labyrinth which you must escape before you can continue your investigation. This monster maze aspect is, as you may expect, decided by die rolls (1D6 in this case) and is pretty basic, but still gives you a taste of D&D. The box, board, cards and minis are all very well D&D themed. The minis are even metal and look pretty cool. The only issue is that the dwarf fighter's weapon is sticking out from the body enough that it can get bent or broken off. Mine was broken off, but that was mentioned in the item description. I was able to glue it back on. The artwork looks great, matching the style of the D&D 3rd edition books. You get to choose from Tordek the Dwarf, Regdar the Fighter, Lidda the Rogue, Mialee the Wizard, Nebin the Gnome or Ember the Monk - heroes used in the Player's Handbook to illustrate how to play the game. They're metal versions of the plastic minis in D&D boxed sets so they're easily useable in the RPG. The weapons and magic items are also metal and look pretty cool. They are about the size of the hero minis and would make good 'feelies' or physical props for your RPG as well. Even if you don't play Clue very often, the minis, weapons and the game board would be cool to use in an RPG. You may even find, like I did when I was a kid, that Clue can make an excellent rules lite RPG of its own as you and the other players role play your characters.
