Great for custom action figures! !
1 of 1 found this helpful I used milliput and sculpy for a while then heard about pro create so I gave it a try. At first it seemed too hard and sticky. After getting used to it I realized that I liked it a lot. It holds its form very well and dries fairly quick. With that I learned to work on smaller sections at a time because it does set up quickly. If you make too much you can freeze the extra and use it later. You can mix different hardnesses to accommodate what you need as far as flexibility or durability goes. The more flexible the mixture the longer you have to work with it. The harder you mix it the quicker it will set up. I still use milliput for large areas of clothing but pro create is great for detailed work. You can change facial features easily to create realistic expressions. It's also great for accessories and weapons. Another thing that makes it great for custom action figures is its durability. You can reheat sculpted parts on arms, legs, heads etc. Without the fear of it cracking or coming apart from the figure like milliput some times will. Once you have the structure sculpted and it has set up a little you can push cloth or other textured materials in to it to create awesome textures. Once set up it also carves fairly well. I have never sculpted miniature models but I would highly recommend this to any action figure customizer.
