A relief to watch after recent movie
Aside from musical numbers (which are surprisingly charming), the movie is on par with the old television series. Thus, it is fascinating as a relic, and much more fitting to remember the show from than the recent live action monstrosity,

It works because it's so filled with surprise moments. Characters don't go in the directions we are used to.
