Robo home
Went together easily and well and all parts of the robot fit perfect. The power supply cord hanger arms should be farther apart to keep from winding the cord too tight and the robot cord receiver should fave small side arms to keep cord from slipping off. Plastic durability is always suspect so time will tell.

Being neighborly
This tarp replaced a bright blue tarp covering a firewood pile, my neighbors no longer even notice the pile. Mission accomplished .

The feel of a tank
5 of 5 found this helpful I had spent the last few years in the digital world and found myself getting too rusty on the laws of photography and decided I needed to get back to the basics (well, as basic as a Leica R8 can be). As a former surveyor I appreciate fine optics and will normally gravitate towards items with the Zeiss or Leica label. Though at first concerned that Leica had decided to discontinue the R series, I remained drawn to the solid feel and competent design of other Leica products I owned and started my quest for a fairly priced R series camera and successfully bid on the R8 model currently sitting on my desk. Scrimping enough together to get a basic 35mm lens (I am actually getting to like this better than the standard 50mm) I have returned to the world of film photography. The R8 is so natural to use and the solid weight balances in my hand and absorbs the actions of exposure and rewinding. The information in the view finder is succinct and is quickly becoming second nature for ready comprehension. The R8 delivers what I was looking for and is more of a work of art sitting on my desk than some of the works of art in the room. I expect it will last as long as film remains available.
