Huan Yang 3KW VFD review
I installed this on a 3 hp Colchester lathe and it worked straight out of the box. I wired in a selector switch to select 50 hz or 75 hz and use the lathe gear box as intended. 75 hz gives a chuck speed of 1800RPM, this makes the lathe much more versatile.
The only down side to the VFD is the manual, almost useless.
Everyone is critical of cheap Chines products but in all honesty most items we buy are made in China and rebranded to appeal to our Western sensibilities + a 80% price hike. Where do you think your phone, TV, computer and........................are made?
