Much fuss for nothing
1 of 2 found this helpful I wish to make clear from the beginning that I am happy with this Asus product. Nevertheless, I was expecting much more from the new Android 5.1. The initial reaction with the screen savers is negative. Google has lost its taste. They are less inspired than the old ones especially the live ones. There is also considerable lag and confusion because of that with the execution of apps. The Chrome web browser is also mediocre to say the least. Naturally, part of the problem is that web pages are simply loaded to the brim with ads offered by Google no one cares about. With the new "smarter" approach every time you visit a web page Google assumes you are a devoted fan of this particular business and floods other sites with ads from that one company, which is wrong and annoying. Even worse is the fact that this trend follows you with Chrome from cell phone to laptop to tablet you enter under the same user name. Google, don't you think you are too clever for your own good?.Should we switch back to the abominable Internet Explorer and Microsoft? Please let us know so we can file for "divorce" in time.
Once again, there is nothing wrong with Asus. The problem is with Google,

The best deal in electric toothbrushes ever!
4 of 4 found this helpful It's without doubt the best deal in electric toothbrushes. Everything else is too expensive and a rip-off. It has also the greatest cleaning capability because it is not rechargeable. It is also the more compact and difficult to forget. You don't need to carry around adapters wires, etc Batteries are everywhere. Only abroad they maybe a little expensive. As it usually happens with good products it is practically discontinued, super market don't carry it because make more money selling brush replacements. Sad!!!

Reasonably good tablet-laptop
Thbis is was a very well designed Lenovo product when it was first introduced and few of its virtues have held nicely until today. The most notable one is its sturdiness. Since the unit I have was delivered without operating system, installing Windows 7 and calibrating its drivers has been a hit and miss process. As far as I managed to calibrate the touch screen, only touching the screen using the pen is accuarate and practical on this model.
The next Lenovo X220 tablet, on the other hand, for using fingers is clearly superior. I still have not tried installing Windows 8 or 10 on this unit.
Another potentially weak point in this model is the hinge. If this becomes faulty, it requires considerable labor to replace. The fact modern designs of laptop-tablets use a different approach in the hinge issue is indicative of an inferior older design. In general, every laptop has weak points, even the top of the line Apple, but the general trend of building lighter units will eventually solve damages from falling. In this field, this Lenovo unit takes high scores as the combination of reenforced plastic with metal increases endurance. However, in the interior there are all plastic parts that tend to become brittle with time. Nevertheless, having inexpensive replacement parts, like fans, SATA hard disk drives, and DDR3 RAM will keep these products useful for many years. Finally, the selling price between 100 and 200$ depending on the configuration is hard to beat. The keyboard is up to the old Lenovo standards.
