A Great Camera....
I really like this camera but only wished I had done just a little more research on the lenses before I bought. I ended up buying a kit from Sunshine Electronics here on ebay - they were fine and they sold me top notch products as promised but, in the end, the lenses I bought in the bundle really didn't have a lot of real world value for me. The first lense was a Nikon 18-55 AF-S VR Lense. A good lense for shooting every day shots but, really, my point and shoot Pentax Z750 7mp camera takes great portraits and Misc. shots. My second lense was a 55-200mm Nikon AF-S VR. Once again a quality lense but, the reason I wanted a zoom was for sports (and some wildlife) photography...specifically to freeze motion in a variety of lighting situations. This lense just doesn't haven't the speed I need at a maximum F stop of 5.6 at 200mm (4 @ 55mm). Don't get me wrong, the D60 is a great introductory SLR camera. You just may want to consider what you are buying it for and make sure you get the lense(s) that suits your purpose(s). I just ordered the Nikon 70-200mm AF-S VR f/2.8 ED lense which will work very well for what I want to do. I borrowed one from a friend and the results were AMAZING - clear shots in low lighting conditions and the photo's I took turned out great. I had friends wanting to get prints of some of the pictures I took at a Major League Baseball game. Conclusion: Definitely buy the D60 if you are new to SLR photography like me. It's easy to use and learn and you can get top quality pictures as long as you use the lense best suited for your purposes. I had to pay about $300 extra for the kit to get the lenses I really don't need but an still happy with Sunshine electronics (one lense came damaged and they replaced it no questions asked). I plan on selling the 55-200mm VR lense on ebay...who wants to buy it!!

T-Mails worth the read....
It's not often you will get a chance to read an entire book devoted to an idea whose time passed some 50 years ago. "Mr. Lincoln's T0Mails" is well written and gives the reader an insight into the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln like no other book could. Just reading the Telegraph messages themselves is enjoyable and shows a side of the President I really had never known before. I've been reading a few books on Lincoln over my last several vacations and when I saw this I knew I had to find something original in this work...and I did!
