140W Kids Electric Ride On scooter - poorly engineered, disappointing on first inspection.

Edges of aluminium frame are very sharp. Assembly instructions mentions the fitting of the belt assembly in some detail (NB the belt is already installed ) but there is little relating to the actual scooter assembly. The illustrations are difficult to see, the best help came from the image on the website (Ah - so that's where the rubber washer goes!). Note: A metric spanner set is essential. The scooter battery was pre-charged which is good, but the device identified in the online Troubleshooting guide is a push button over-current trip. I think it is a pity that the steel seat support post (approx. 6cms) remains in place at all times - this needs some form of soft protective cover to prevent a child catching their leg on it. As this has not yet been child-tested I cannot comment on its effectiveness.

Easy to fit. Offers a very bright light that can be oriented to shine in almost any direction. I have it positioned near our recycling bins, the AUTO mode works very well.
