If you need this for biology, I pity you.
Neil Shubin's writing is acceptable but has the attitude of a high school boy easily excited by anything that appears to show similarities between species. He makes a lot of assumptions and at times is presumptuous with premature hypothesis. Otherwise Neil Shubin is a knowledgeable scientist that shares a lot of physiological knowledge about several species of the animal kingdom. For those who get excited about the evolutionary part of biology (more like paleontology), this will tickle your fancy.
