The title truly says what it is: a gift from Bob.
This is a continuation of the story fo Bob the Street Cat who adopted James Bowen at a time when they really needed each other. It is very engaging, and is, in the end, a real "tear Jerker." The characterization is well drawn, true to the real Bob and the real James.
