Great bottle, great cap, poor sleeve
Up until now I have mostly used plastic bottles for my water. However, this is not healthy because plastics is leaking into the water. So I decided to go glass.
The Takeya glass bottle is a great water-bottle. First thing I noticed is that water now tastes much better than with the plastic.
The Takeya is great to drink from - the opening has a good size. The cap is of hardplast I think, and it is easy to shut the bottle closed, and I do not think there is any significant leakage from the cap into the water.
Around the top of the bottle there is a carry-help. Not neccessary for me, but I dont mind it either. Sometimes I use it.
One minus: for me the bottle is a little to small. It should have been closer to 1 litre - a little thicker and a little longer.
Another minus is the sleeve. First - is it made of a helthy material? Anyways - It sort of collapsed around the bottle after a week, and I just had to take it off. However, I prefer the bottle without the sleeve so this does not really matter.
I think the design of bottle and cap is great - it looks good and can be carried everywhere. Good materials. The sleeve also looks good, however failed fast. I also think there should be some explaining about the material of the sleeve - is it healthy material?
Great bottle that I would recommend to anyone. I carry it with me everywhere - work, gym etc.
