comprehensive kit

for the money its a good bargain covers pretty much all vag group engines all in one box. i feel its best option to buy a full kit like this rather than the smaller single type engine kits ie tdi and petrol kits etc. the kits is has good as any £200 kit with a brand name as at end of day they all do just one job to lock cams and crankshaft etc. i used it on a 1.9tdi this week works perfectly all the pins were nice and tight in the locking holes and the crank locking bits work well.. for the diy mechanic on 1.9tdi engines you will also need vag com computer diagnostics to ensure the cam timing angle is correct via the 16 pin diagnostic plug in side car. ie the top cam shaft sprocket is adjustable and needs to be adjusted every time change timing belt.
