Refrigerator Door Gasket Seal for Electrolux Frigidiaire 218730605

OEM refrigerator door gasket

The door gasket was a bit twisted in order to fit it in the box it was sent in. I used a heat gun to straighten it. After I installed it I had use the heat gun and a spoon in order to make it thicker in some areas so it would seal on the refrigerator door properly. Now it works great. It was $30 to $40 cheaper than other door gaskets for my frig. I had to put a new thermostat in it recently as well so I'm hoping that it will just work for a long time.

Be careful.

Make sure that you don’t mix G11 and G12 coolants. See internet for why. If your car does require G12 antifreeze then this is a good choice.

Quality touch-up paint and sealer

The product has a brush for larger scratches, etc., and a marker-like tip which is better for smaller, more rounded nicks and marks. I didn't use the clear sealer on the other end of the product, but that seems like a good idea, too. I think the sealer would be really helpful for newer cars and trucks where there were just a few blemishes and the owner was trying to restore the vehicle to like-new condition. My 1994 Dodge pickup was just too nicked up for me to bother sealing all those marks.
