Roberts RD-21 Ecologic 4 Radio

I have had a number of different DAB radios over the years, but this radio has by far and away the best sound of any of them. I bought it on the strength of amazon reviews and it really is surprisingly good. I think it might be quite an old design - the Roberts Gemini 21 and RD-20 Dab radios seem to be the same basic design. Both have been around for quite a while - so I guess you could say it's stood the test of time. Other good things - 10 presets, separate base and treble controls. Battery operation is good. I use Maplin Hybrid rechargeables which work well. There is very little difference in volume or quality of sound when running on batteries or mains. Apparently the radio will run for 150 hrs on batteries. I haven't tested this.
