Prep work is extremely important. I used dish soap and a single edge razor blade to remove the old glue and residue from the bottom, side and top edges of the rear window. Then applied a thin bead of 3m black auto molding adhesive to the inside of the molding piece. I also applied the adhesive to the underside of the bottom ends of the side moldings to form a water tight seal. The entire job took about 45 minutes and it looks factory done!
