He was talking in a very humiliating manner. We suggested a full refund but he kept saying mean things and forcing us to buy him some extra items that was not suggested in our listing. He said quote: "you should feel humiliated". We told them that we are happy to give him a full refund, but he kept the item and left bad review. The vintage phone I bought wasn't vintage! The inside was gutted and replaced with modern circuit board. The seller thinks I'm saying mean things because I want him to make it right. He should feel humiliated at being called out for his less than forthright description. The exorbitant shipping fee of $50 makes it too expensive to return. BTW, listing says "No returns."

Easy to read, well made
Mush more accurate than using a cube of bread or a piece of wood to estimate oil temperatures.
Seems well made and satisfyingly heavy.

True Jewish Recipes
A fantastic cookbook with recipes that aren't available anywhere else. Excellent description of times past and interesting histories.
I've lived through this period of Jewish baking and have found very few of the bakery goods produced today and even the recipes are wrong. For instance, every recipe for mandel bread on the net describes it as "twice-baked" crunchy cookie, like a biscotti. Real mandel bread is very different. See the real recipe in this book.
The real Kaiser rolls - the dough and had to fold them - are found in this book. No press or mold for shaping. Folding the rolls the way it was done years ago.
