The original Trac II Razor.
1 of 1 found this helpful This razor is the best improvement Gillette ever made. It is the first razor I ever used back in 1976. Every improvement since: pivots, more blades, then more blades have not been any improvement. I think this razor gives the closest smoothest shave with, less passes than anything else I have tried. I am a shave geek and I have tried dozens of razors from all eras 1920's to present, and this model (exactly like my first Trac II) gives as good or better shave than any. I love the shave this razor gives. I am grateful they still make them in India and at a reasonable price, unlike modern Gillette. The new era of Gillette ( Mach III, FUSION etc. ) really gauge the consumer with terribly unreasonable prices and razors that pull and tug , more than 2 blades is too many but I like 2 better than 1. Two blades is just right.
