Exactly what you expect
This is exactly what it says it is and does precisely what it says it does...

Easy to Program - but make sure you have the cable!
These radios are super easy to use, and set up *if* you use the free CHIRP software, and get an interface cable for the radio. Manually programming the radio is a challenge - not impossible, but counterintuitive. CHIRP will let you make tables of frequency configurations, and will also let you use callsign labels instead of frequencies, which is very helpful. The programming cables are equally inexpensive. I now own 2 of these, and bought this one for my girlfriend (who is becoming an amateur radio operator.) The battery life seems good, build quality is excellent for the price. It's not MIL-STD-810 build, but plenty tough for typical amateur applications. Contacts report my audio is good and clear, and the 4w output is adequate for local repeaters. Extended antennas are available, and a wide range of accessories.
Summary: not built like my Yaesu-Vertex VX-150 or FT-60, but not priced like them, either.

Does exactly what you expect it to do . . .
This is an LED-based emergency services light (volunteer FF/EMS green) with basic flash patterns. It does precisely what it says it does, and works well. A unit that would work any better would cost significantly more.
Like most lights of this type, it is housed in plastic - but it is solidly built. It comes with the bracket and suction cups necessary for windshield mounting, and a removable 12v cable (which is nice - you can leave the light in place, and stow the cable to keep it out of the way when not in use.)
