Indispensable
A must for mountain biking. There's nothing worse than cables rattling together in front of your handle bars while you're plowing through a rock garden, distracting you from the pure joy of the ride. I personally only want to hear my tires coming in contact with the trail, and will do anything to silence other noises.
I have about 4 of these at different spots on my brake, shifter and dropper cables to keep them all suspended and from touching each other, and love that they are visually unobtrusive yet make a huge difference in your experience. I haven't lost one yet, they clip on pretty snug. They can slide around though over time as you turn and your cables move in relation to each other. My solution is to simply wrap some electrical tape around one of the cables a couple times to make it too thick for the s-hook to slide past that point. Otherwise, just snap on and turn your bars to the extreme to make sure nothing's getting pulled to tightly and you're good to go.
