Works beautifully but the metal coated plastic part fails eventually.

It works like new and is a beautiful functional faucet. It is however the 3rd time we replaced it and it is expensive. I would not have paid the $250 retail price again but found an open box unit on EBay. The metal coating of the plastic spray head eventually fails, as does the rubber cover of the switch for the spray. The reason we keep replacing it is that the rest of the unit, which is metal, is in perfect condition after 20 years. And is is a very nice sprayhead for a few years.
