Universal New Automatic Transmission Flywheel Dust Cover GM Chevy Fitzall M463D
    Jul 23, 2018
    Not a bolt on...
If you expect this to be a five minute install, guess again... since it is a "fits all" it doesn't fit anything without work. The mounting holes are slotted for adjustment (nice) but the hole size is not big enough for the actual mounting screws. My cover came sheet metal screws for mounting. I have never seen a flywheel cover mounted with sheet metal screws- throw them away. GM transmissions use 1/4"X20 machine screws. The cover has no cut out for the starter so you will have to cut it out yourself. There are no templates provided so if you want a nice fit you will be under your car 20 times before you get this to fit like the factory metal cover (not so nice). My cover was also warped so it took some twisting to get it to fit right. The plastic is thick enough, has a good surface finish and won't rust but the next time I'll buy a used metal one that just bolts on, the extra $7 I would have spent would have saved me 45 minutes of work. Have a drill 1/4" drill bit side cutters or a Dremel ready before you start....
