They worked!
Could not feel a difference in the resistance of the new shocks compared to the old, though I did note they were smaller. However, when installed, they did the trick and significantly reduced the shaking that was so prominent and loud.

Not As Effective As The FAD704DWD in my application
0 of 1 found this helpful FAD504DWD doesn’t seem to work as well with my FAD704DWD, as did the old 25 PPD unit. The FAD504DWD comes on more frequently than my old 25 PPD unit and the fan seems to stay on long after the compressor shuts off. Also, what matters is its dehumidifying performance and bucket-to-bucket comparisons in my application show the FAD704DWD removes about twice as much water over the same time period as does the FAD504DWD. I would send the FAD704DWD back and buy another FAD704DWD, if I didn’t have to pay return shipping…
