A great first watch!
Watch comes sealed in plastic nicely presented in the original Seiko box. The watch itself is flawless, with a beautiful clear back so you can see the movement at work. A nice touch that wasn't completely clear from the pictures is the ends of the hour markers glow just like the hour and minute hands.
The style of links on the bracelet (folded links) are super easy to resize yourself, saving you some money and time not having to go to a jeweler to get it sized. The clasp has 3 small adjustment spots so, alongside adding/removing links, you can make tiny adjustments to the size to get a perfect fit.
It might be a bit smaller than you would expect, 38mm is noticably smaller than some other watches, but it looks great on my (relatively small) wrist.
I can't take my eyes off this watch, it's a beautiful entry point into the world of nice mechanical watches.
