We can learn something from the past
1 of 1 found this helpful I’m grateful for seeing the wonderful play in Chicago and following up with the factual, detailed background to so many of the founding fathers. Chernow is on my favorite biographical author list with Doris K. Goodwin and David McCullough for making our history about the people who were present and accounted for so many battles in and out of the war for independence. We can see today how difficult governing is compared to conflict. I’m often catching myself reading a passage and reflecting on its relevance to America today.
